Post 7 - Thank You Letter

Dear Ms. Tracey,
With all my respect, I want to thank you for being such a special mentor this year. I enjoyed working with you and all the other staff members. All the staff members have been very nice to me and treated me like one of the workers. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be an intern at the Brooklyn Public Library. It was an unforgettable experience.
I really appreciate your patience and the time you spent to teach me new skills. I also appreciate how you taught me about how library works and how to shelve the books in their section. I admire you for your patience, intelligence and teaching skills. I like the way of you keeping everything accurate and organized. I am thankful to you that I had an opportunity to work at Clinton Hill Branch!
I also want to thank you for encouraging me to show up my talent. Thank you!
With appreciation,
Shahodat Sharopova

Post 6 - Photo Essay

This place is my supervisor's office. It's very small. I go there everyday to sign up for library time sheet. Whenever there are boxes of delivery books, I shelve them in her office.

This is a piece of art that I did in the library, as you can see they gave me a credit for my work. There was a contest between BPLs. Each of them had to create a piece of art, so more people would donate for the library. My supervisor came up with this idea. The tree represents the library. The leaves on the tree represent the favorite books of people in Clinton Hill (below).

This is a small job I've done in Clinton Hill. I did these flowers around the bulletin board, so it will attract people's attention. This where people find information about public opportunities.

This is the section of Juvenile Non-Fiction books. This section is my least favorite section, because since it's kids' section they mess up everything >.<!!! Especially babies, who don't even know how to read,  take these books out of their places and not put them back! Very frustrating!!!

This is the kitchen of the library, where only staff members are allowed. I usually spend my break time in here.
There are big models of books in the library like this one. Library recommends these books. I've seen many people asking for these books.
